Tea Buffet in Hotel Nikko

On Saturday, my friend and I went to Hotel Nikko Hong Kong's Lobby Lounge to have tea buffet. But it was something special cause the theme on that day was “mango-rich tea buffet”. So, the majority of the dishes were made with ingredients of mango.


If I need to comment on the quality of tea buffet on that day, I would like to put it in this way.

First, you should have a try if you’re a fanatic of desserts. Among the deserts that I ate, I highly recommend the irresistible choices of blueberry cheese cake, mango cheese cake, assorted cookies, chocolate mousse, mixed-fruits tarts,… Especially for the blueberry cheese cake, green tea cookies and chocolate mousse, you will regret in the rest of your whole life if you miss all of that. It’s not exaggerated!!!. I think it’s a success because they’re smart in making the desserts in very small sizes. So they’re not so heavy and the guests are willing to try more of them.


Besides, the environment is very nice. It’s so roomy and the distribution of the tables was not so dense that the conversation between the people in one table will not affect others. The view of the lounge is very amazing because you can see outside through the sweeping glass panels. And they put up a lot of artistic decorations from Europe to create an environment in which you were now enjoying your buffet in a palace.

However, if you do not prefer eating desserts, I suggest that Hotel Nikko is not a right place to go. I think the variety of hot dishes is not enough, only some sautéed crabs with mango sour sauce, baked pork neck with cheese mango sauce, golden spareribs and mango French toast. Moreover, as a “loyal fan” of ice-cream, there’re few flavors from which I can choose (only vanilla).

But, in general, tea buffet in Hotel Nikko is one of the good activities that you can spare your free time with your best friends. And it’s a nice way of relaxation after working intensively in the weekdays.

Evita - La Pelicula Inolvidable

La película era una comedia musical. Los actores principales eran Antonio Banderas, Madonna. Se trataba de una chica que se llamaba “Eva” que abandonó su infancia para perseguir su sueño en Argentina. Al principio, era una actriz, luego subió a la Alta Sociedad. Finalmente se casó con el futuro Presidente Juan Perón (Jonathan Pryce) y se hizó la Primera Dama de Argentina (Eva Perón). Sin embargo, murió cuando tenía 33 años porque sufría del cáncer.

Me gustó la película mucho porque Madonna interpretó su papel como Eva Perón bien. Me parecío que Eva Perón sobreviviera otra vez en la película. Madonna tenía el mismo carisma que Eva Perón. Creo que Madonna actuó bien porque se había esforzado antés de participar en esta película. Había ido a Argentina para estudiar la historia del país. Además, había ido al lugar en dónde Eva Perón nació para conocerla mejor. También, había asistido a las clases de cantar porque la técnica de cantar es diferente en la opera. Así que, tuvé éxito and ganó "La actriz mejor" en "Globo Oro"

También, Antonio Banderas hizó bien. Antés de ver la película, sabía que era un actor excelente. Pero en esta película, cantó muy brillante. En realidad, era un narrador en la película. Como narrador, su papel era muy importante porque necesitaba contar el cuento a los auditorios. Sin embargo, esta vez, era muy difícil porque usaba solamente el gesto, la expresión facial y cantar para expresar. Pero, pusó manejarlo sin dificultad. Así que, es un genio.

Además, las canciones como “No llores para mi, Argentina”, “Debes amarme” en la película eran muy fantasticas. Como las canciones sustituían los diálogos en la película, la música era el elemento importante para contar a los auditorios qué estaba pasando en la película. Afortunadamente, los compositors hicieron bien en la película componiendo muchas canciones brillantes. Por lo tanto, la canción “Debes amarme” ganó el premio de “El mejor canción” en Oscar.

Me gustaría recomendar está película a los que no lo han visto. Pienso que es una de las maneras de aprender la historia de Argentina y conocer a una figura politica. Ademas, es una buena oportunidad de disfrutar del paisaje bello de Argentina. ¡Gracias al director!
