Movie --- Evan Almighty

My friend, do you have anything to do this weekend? If your answer is no, I highly recommend this movie to all of you … Evan Almighty.

From the title of the movie, you would guess that it´s a very amusing story. In fact, there are some gags which make you laugh. But I think that it is not the message that the director wants to convey to his audience.

To summarize, it is actually the story in bible (Noah Ark). The male character (Alas, Carell) began his career as congressman after winning in the political campaign in which he always claimed himself as the one who could change the world. Finally, he was chosen by the god as the role of Noah to save the lives of the animals.

I love this movie very much. It reminds us the things that we always forgot. For instance, from a broader view, do we care the environment in which we live? Do we have faith in all the things arranged by our god? Could we 100% guarantee that we would stay around our companions when they fall from the peak, suffer from distress,…Do we spend enough time with our family members, friends, etc. Do you have sincerity in the job which we are working? Or, we’re just pursuing the fame and wealth which are generally regarded as symbols of being success in our society nowadays.
